His first game back from the flu was the Sunday game against the Cards...He played Monday, left the game early tuesday, didn't play wednesday, they were off thursday, he played friday, then left early saturday. It was only the second time.

They simply weren't getting it done. They could always throw strikes, just weren't for whatever reason. Just like Braun and Fielder weren't hitting...those things don't make them any less of a good team. Yes, they were playing bad when the Reds played them...but I stated they were a good team and people disagreed. Its like the Reds this weekend...they didn't get it done, but it doesn't mean they are a bad team.

If it was anything more than that we would have heard a lot more about it. It was just a good chance to rest him before a big series.
