Nice story. Can't play. He's become Dusty's Corey Patterson. Last night started a stretch of the Reds playing five of their next seven games vs LHP. Call up Jonny Gomes.(.387 vs LHP this year)..improve the bench...add him to Nix in LF. Alex Gonzalez doesn't look like he can play...and I'm not sure he even wants to play. They owe him 5.3 milliion either way. I'd release him. He won't be back next year. He serves no purpose now. His glove will go down as the most overrated glove in the franchise of this history. Eyeball test says he's not better than Hairston or Janish in the field right now. Play Hairston and Janish at SS til a better option develops. Put Joey Votto on the DL. Take care of him. Play with a 25 man roster for the first time in how long?
