Do you think Arizona would trade Boudin for 85?

I've wondered the same. But no, I don't think so.

More and more TJ is showing his true colors and I am to the point where I am ready to start rooting against him.

What has TJ done? He played hard while he was here. I don't blame him for speaking out. He was fed up. He performed better than anyone on the field for a long time in Cincinnati.

I think that use to be the case but since Marvin came to town I think players have been a lot more willing to consider Cincy.

The honeymoon lasted for a few seasons. Carson came into town & things were looking up. After a few disappointing seasons, Marvin lost control of the team & everybody knew it. I'm not sure that he has it back, but maybe TJ leaving will make that easier?

Um, he had to play for the worst owner in professional sports history, and arguably the worst franchise in all of sports.

To paraphrase Chris Rock, I'm not saying Corey Dillon's antics were right, but I understand. And I completely understand Houshmandzadeh getting in a few parting shots.

I don't blame him at all. The Bengals are my team. The Bengals are also horrible. They are the worst franchise I've known since I've been alive. Most importanty, they're tied for 1st place right now.

Holt already signed with the Jags.

I've been out of the loop for a few days. That's great..for the Jags. I was really hoping Cincy would be smart enough to get Peters for a ridiculous value then sign Holt giving them a chance to be loaded going into the draft. Good ole M. Brown pulls through again! They missed a golden opportunity IMO!

Holt wasn't the answer at WR. I'm a UK guy & loved having Holt on the Bengals, but I don't think it's a big loss.

I believe I read where the Russell we just signed (from the Steelers) returned some kicks for them. I'd like to see Caldwell get that opportunity, too.

He was obviously talking about Torry Holt the former Rams receiver...

I always read on here about trading away Ocho Cinco, but I really think you guys sometimes overrate #85's skills. There is not exactly a hot market out there for what I believe to be a solid #2 receiver. In other words, you are not getting much in return for Chad... which might not be a bad thing, but you get what I am saying.

I want Chad gone, but like I've stated before it is because I like him. He is a great player and was very cool to talk to when I met him. The Bengals are the worst franchise in the NFL, not named the Lions and Raiders, and they rival them to be honest. Marvin Lewis??? Why? He was a great coordinator with the Ravens, but enough is enough considering the Bengals have one of the worst defenses in the league. The front office does very little from year to year to try to improve. I don't know if his skills are deteriorating, but I think it is possible it is a Randy Moss like thing where he doesn't want to play for an organization that doesn't really try to win.

Good call. I missed the initial post where the poster referred to T. Holt, and just caught the Holt comments. Regardless, my point remains that Glenn Holt is not the answer in Cincinnati. :D

Is Glenn Holt going to be back in Cincy?

Yeah I dont really understand how he was treated bad.

So, you've never heard of somebody leaving for a job that paid less money because they were tired of working for a crappy boss/company? There have been more than enough disgruntled ex-Bengals out there to allow me to read between the lines that what goes on behind the scenes ain't good.

"Chad will never play for another franchise."

That's what ESPN's Michael Smith said the Bengals told Ocho & Rosenhaus.

Of course it ain't good.

The Bengals are a horrible franchise. They don't have a GM. The number of legitimate scouts that they employ is about equal to the number of legitimate scouts on BGP.

But the trump card is that they haven't been winning.

TJ is a WR for the Seattle Seahawks, he has no business speaking out about the private affairs of other teams.

If TJ wants to be an analyst he needs to retire and go to work for ESPN.

Nothing with Chad Ocho Cinco is a "private" affair.

TJ spent something like 7 or 8 seasons with the Bengals. I think he has earned the right to speak about them. It reflect poorly upon the Bengals, but I don't think it's malicious. Unfortunately, I think it's accurate.

With that said, if the yapping continues once the season starts, I'll be disappointed. But now, it's fine with me.
