My question is what if somehow UK does end up winning the NIT Championship and beat Florida a long the way. Would the deal still happen? Or is it for sure that even if we win the NIT that Billy G is gone?

I say if we win the NIT the deal may still happen. I would like for us to win the NIT though to see what would happen.

I do find it funny though, that there are so many on here who still claim they were right last time and I am the only one who actually was, from the very beginning.

Amen...rumors are fun but they are just that.... rumors. Until I see a statement from Mitch himself I'm behind OUR coach Billy Clyde Gillispie.

My only statement on the matter is this. I think BG is a train wreck of a hire and a terrible coach but the worst thing they could do right now is fire him.

I heard there were rumors flying around Memphis that Coach Cal will be considering UK very diligently. That is the rumor I heard but no "source" for me.

First off I don't care about the UK situation.

 

With that said, a friend of mine who claims to be in the "in Crowd", told me what his source had told him.

 

BCG will be either fired or will resign with in a week of their last game of the season. The next coach is John Calipari and he will sign within week of his last game. I was told that none of his recruits will be coming with him.
