The freshman have yet to do much. They were not allowed to participate in spring practice as they were still considered 8th graders.

I stopped by conditioning last evening. Wow to many kids to count. Not sure who Coach French has been talking to, but Coach Hester has been working really hard trying to get the freshman numbers up. Hey Dale when will the tailgating start? Before or after dead period.:dancingpa

 

 

Some of the workouts have been the football and basketball teams combined. I'm sure there's some overlap but not all of those kids you saw are football.

I know, what I am saying is that a large majority of those kids are indeed football players. This year's football team is likely to be one of the biggest(in terms of numbers) in a while. French has got a lot of those kids walking the hallways wanting to play football. It's good to see.

:scared: Only Four Home Games! That's got to hurt the money situation.

 

Overall a good schedule and pretty interesting in it's diversity. I don't recall if Boyle played Pikeville before unless it was around 2000 or so. I'm pretty confident in saying that they have never played Johnson Central or Christian County (but I could be wrong again. ) Rockastle is a familiar old foe from playoff days of the 90's and early 00's.

 

I had heard that the Danville game was being pushed towards the middle of the schedule. I remember when it was the last game of the year and that was always a great way to wind up the season.

I'm sure they get a payout of all the bowl games they play.
