No doubt. Wow. I wish I was home. I'd have liked to have been there.

I heard that Knox Central was a really good football team. And they will beat a lot of teams this fall.

Boyle County, Bell County and Knox Central all looked good, other teams there did as well though.

The Rebels JV and freshmen made a pretty good showing at Union as well, finishing 5th overall among the varsity teams. There only loss before the tourny was to Rock's varsity. They still have a lot to learn, but they showed some promise.

Any details on the JV game with Rock?

Rock's varsity was just too big and too quick for our JV defense. There were a lot of freshmen playing for us as well. It was a good learning experience. The only other game that I got to see was a win against Cumberland Gap (TN) varsity. The offense looked really good in that game, with Hale throwing 4 TD's and Whittle throwing a couple of long TD passes as well. Drew Henderson looked like he will be a good reciever.

What's little French coaching? I have always liked him, he is good with the kids.

Ahh, stopping the run is always difficult.

I would be shocked if you can run on this team. They are very tough up front. Just my opinion.

I agree. I have always thought you were better served trying to beat us in the air. 3 yards and a cloud of dust has normally been a difficult way to try and beat us.

Especially last season. I think Boyle's defense is just too tenacious up front for anyone to just run over them. Boyle County's defense was very consistent on stopping the run last season and I don't it will be much different this season, IMO.

I hear Boone looked a lot better at Union, I think if he can imorove to the point of being able to keep defenses to play honest, and limit his turnovers, we will be fine. I have full confidence in our defense. I can not wait!
