Based on what I have seen, the only question marks are at WR. Boone has a cannon and they better be ready for a ball that will be put on their numbers. I think we will be fine everywhere else. I expect really good things this season.

The WR positions are very questionable, However we must remember that French is a running Coach. And he has a full house in the backfield. Reese could very well be a contender for Mr. Football. The O line should also be very strong. From what I have been told the competion for starting positions has been fast furious.

I just hope his decision making has improved and that he has better footwork than last season. I don't doubt his ability to thow the ball. I look for the Rebels to run the ball alot this year.

Granted and to Boone's credit, we only got to see him late in games when the outcome had already been decided. Then it usually wasn't behind the starting offense.

This I like to hear. For Boyle to be successful Boone has to be a second option to help keep the defenders not entirely on Reese all the time.

Not sure but with his speed he could be used as a defensive back.:confused:

I think Boyle Co. will be on a mission and have something to prove for this 2009 season.Last season they forgot to dot the i's and cross the t's,but not this coming season.

Does Rees play any other sports?

I'll believe in Dre Cox when I see him on the field in uniform on opening night. Too many times has he come out, only to quit (even after working his way into some playing time). I coached Dre in youth football and know what a great athlete and great potential he has (he is also a great kid), but he has to develop a work ethic to fit in as a Rebel. I hope that Dre will avoid the distractions, stick it out and work hard because he could truly help this team with his speed and ability. I would be the biggest Dre Cox fan there is, but I will believe it when he is on the field for the opening kickoff.

I agree with you Paul, Dre is extremely talented and could be a big contributor this year if he stays with it and avoids the distractions. For whatever reasons he has come out to only quit at a later time. I will believe it when I see him on the field come August. It's definitely worth keeping an eye on this summer.

As to where he will play, if he indeed is on the field for the first game I have feeling he will be in the slot and maybe split out to be one of those "ball catchers" we need. Again that is if he actually plays.
