I can't believe I'm ging here. IMO these are the two best shows to ever be on TV.

This is like asking me to pick which of my children I love the most. Unfair!

Absolutely no comparsion. Andy Griffith is the KING of TV shows imo. I could watch that show anytime...except for the ones made after Barney left.

Most definitely. M*A*S*H was the greatest show ever.

 

Andy Griffith, while a darned good show, gets a little bit too much credit because a lot of rural folks liken it to their own small-town experiences from a bygone era.

Gotta go with MASH on this one. But they weren't really on in the same years.

I'll have to go with MASH here. Andy Griffith was great until the cast changes.Once Don Knotts left,it wasn't worth turning on. MASH survived their cast changes and remained as popular as before.

Loved both and still catch them while channel surfing. But, I'd have to give the edge to MASH.
