March 8, 200917 yr It was either Anne Murray at the Ohio State Fair or Quiet Riot (with Randy Rhoads) at the Mississippi Valley State Fair. I can't recall which came first. I was about 9. Anne Murray or Quiet Riot...that is hysterical!:lol: Quite the contrast! Mine was The Judds + Ricky Skaggs at the Lawrence County High School Gym before they got real big. First big show would be Garth Brooks at Rupp. Still right up there with one of the most entertaining (if not the most) I have been too. I've seen a lot of good concerts..ACDC,Dave Matthews, Pearl Jam, Buffett, Skynard etc.
March 8, 200917 yr Absolutely, incredibly, electric atmosphere. I'll have to defer to you. My claustrophobic issues don't allow me to appreciate large crowds.
March 8, 200917 yr I got one for you all. My first concert was M.C. Hammer!!! It was during the time when EnVogue and Vanilla Ice were with him and Vanilla Ice and Hammer were in the media gripping and Vanilla left the tour, so Hammer played for almost two hours!! And the girls of EnVogue were unbelievable!!
March 8, 200917 yr Garth Brooks at whats now US Bank arena when I was in 5th grade. Not really by choice though, my parents made my brother and me go with them.
March 8, 200917 yr Pearl Jam at Riverbend in Cincinnati, August of 2000. I was late getting into the concert game. I was a sophomore in college. I was at that show....Awesome.
March 9, 200917 yr I would have loved to have seen some of these older concerts! (Some of them look like Mozart may have been the opening act!):lol:
