Your first concert?

Featured Replies

My first was Billy Squire opening for Foreigner @ Rupp in September of 1981. Stayed at the Hyatt (They were building the Radison at the time). I followed that up with AC/DC in November of "81" @ Rupp and never slowed down through the rest of the 80's. Not much I even care to see anymore.

I have the nerdiest hair-do in history.

You haven't seen mine lately, apparently.

Staying in the alphabetic theme......

I saw ELO when they had the space ship for a stage in late 78 or early 79, at the Knoxville Civic Colisum, it has been a while. I also saw Rod Stewart in Atlanta at the Omni. Boy I am getting Old

The James Gang(Joe Walsh) and Black Sabbath in 71..

Huey Lewis and the News in '87.

I wish I could trade mine for yours. Mine are about as lame as it gets.

Commodores

Ooooh ... I've got an outstanding 3-record set out in the garage of the Commodores Live.

Pearl Jam at Riverbend in Cincinnati, August of 2000. I was late getting into the concert game. I was a sophomore in college.

We've shared a moment, and didn't even realize it. :sssh:

I knew I liked you for a reason, Jim! I also saw them at Rupp in a couple years later, and then at US Bank in Cincinnati. The first two shows were really good; I didn't care much for the last Cincy show, though.

Well, I'm still feeling like Bon Jovi is a loser for stealing an album title from them.

And I'm sorry, but I can't find any circumstance a concert with that many people could be enjoyable, in any way, shape or form.

Absolutely, incredibly, electric atmosphere.
