AC Law as TAM. and PPAt first season at UK. He also was head recruiter at Illinois when they went undefeated until the Championship game several years ago.

He didn't recruit Acie Law. Law was already at Texas A&M.

I think you can make your decision after the third year.

Hall made it to the Final Four in his third year.

Pitino made to the Elite Eight, and nearly the Final Four in his third year.

And Smith struggled to ten losses in his third year.

After next year, I think we will know the verdict.

Does he deserve another season? I don't think so. But he will be the coach next season.

Law wasn't his recruit, and if not for Law big Billy Clyde would still be at A&M or searching for a new job. I'm still sold that Patterson wasn't his recruit either, but whatever.

If he would just get rid of that Texas stubborness play some zone press, and half court zone, stretch the opponents offense out some, use Liggins, Miller, Galloway, Stewart on the wings and let their long arms and quickness get some turnovers I would think you would see at least 4 or 5 more wins this season and the younger players having more confidence. You know this really isn't rocket science, you have to be able to have an open mind, be able to change your believes based on the players you have or are getting. You just can't brow beat man-to-man on these boys and expect them to be robots. BCG will get at least one more year, but if Stewart or Liggins or both decide they have had enough of BCG then Barnhart has some tough decision making to do.

Yes he does. The guy was SEC coach of the year last year. For whatever reason it hasn't clicked this year. Personally I think he can coach I have more of a problem with his treatment of other people.

If I remember correctly this is the same fan base that wanted Rich Brooks gone after 2 years.

How so?

I agree, he has yet to proven anything on that front IMO.

The work he has done at all previous schools does speak for itself. However, with me saying that, he didn't have to get the "Big Time Recruits" at those schools to turn the programs around. I think he might be in over his head, although he is doing a nice job getting highly rated players to come to the Big Blue Nation. A lot of times, however, big recruits don't cut it. Just look at the class Rondo, Crawford, Morris, and Bradley. Top 5 recruiting class in the nation when OTS was there and look where they went. lol

Yes.....

Because as long as he is Coaching UL should win every game..... (Same reason UK fans want Kragthorpe to stick around)

Even if he did recruit Law, 2 players would make him a proven recruiter?
