February 15, 200917 yr Whatever.... If this is the worse thing I do in my life, I think I'll be OK. I don't know... to quote a line from Ferris Bueller's Day Off, "I weep for the future." :D:D
February 15, 200917 yr Whatever.... If this is the worse thing I do in my life, I think I'll be OK. I also agree. :ohbrother: Like you made it a point to wait 20 days so you could watch the movie 10 times. Maybe Les is a store manager at Blockbuster or something. :notworthy:
February 15, 200917 yr I also agree. :ohbrother: Like you made it a point to wait 20 days so you could watch the movie 10 times. Maybe Les is a store manager at Blockbuster or something. :notworthy: No, it's obvious he didn't make it a point to wait 20 days so he could watch the movie 10 times. Just probably a little laziness. That's all.:thumb::sssh::deadhorse:

That's all.:thumb::sssh::deadhorse: Wow, look at this guy up on his high horse. ^Hey guys, I think we found that Blockbuster manager. Anyways, I have forgotten rentals before. Sometimes I would rent 2 or 3 at a time and one gets misplaced while the others are returned on time. However, I never had this problem with Blockbuster. Anytime I was late they credited the "purchase fee" back and just charged me the $1.25. I did see on a report the other day that Blockbuster is one of 15 companies that are in big financial trouble for 2009. So with stories like these and the horrid customer service, I wouldn't be surprised to see BB file for bankruptcy this year.

That's all.:thumb::sssh::deadhorse: You don't know me. You don't know my daily agenda. You don't know my priorities. Little saying I like to tell the 100 or so people that work for me when it comes to looking at other people. Do not look into someone else's backyard unless your's is raked. So far I have yet to meet the person that has that completely raked backyard. I will not go as far as to judge you as lazy or anything else, but I do ask,"is your backyard raked??"
February 15, 200917 yr Funny story about late fees... I had just turned 18. Naturally, I wanted to do everything an 18 year old was allowed to do. I bought a pack of smokes, played the lottery and of course, rented an adult movie. The rental was for 4 days. We were leaving for Florida for a two week vacation. I forgot to turn the movie in. We get back from Florida and I have 1 letter and a few messages on the answering machine about the movie I had rented. The messages and letters even stated the title of the movie. Pretty embarrassing moment between me and my mom. My dad got a kick out of it though:lol:
February 15, 200917 yr You kidding? Alright show of hands. Who have had movie rentals for longer than 2 weeks? 20 days is more than two weeks. It's three. Also, if they are 20 days LATE that means that you have most likely had them almost a month. What do you expect the store to do???
February 15, 200917 yr 20 days is more than two weeks. It's three. Also, if they are 20 days LATE that means that you have most likely had them almost a month. What do you expect the store to do??? While it's almost a month, that doesn't change the fact that Blockbuster's policy is to refund you the "purchase" fee and only charge you the $1.25 or whatever for restocking. (Within the timeframe that is.)
February 15, 200917 yr Author Amen brother. Please, I want to hear about your backyard, since you are so judgemental. Have I finally located the person with the raked backyard?
February 15, 200917 yr Author 20 days is more than two weeks. It's three. Also, if they are 20 days LATE that means that you have most likely had them almost a month. What do you expect the store to do??? Excuse the charge. I was an 11 year patron of that store and that store only. No wonder BB is on the brink of bankruptcy.

(Within the timeframe that is.)Amen. :thumb: Seems like this particular employee just didn't grasp the simple concept of the store's policy.

February 15, 200917 yr With the employee "fake swiping" her credit card, I think that there was more to this story to begin with.
