February 14, 200917 yr Don't have to my friend. Keeping a movie out for 20 days is irresponsible. Plain and simple. This is a thread and I can post my thoughts on here if I want. I hope you enjoyed Barbie as the Island Princess. :thumb: I was under the belief that it was a personal favorite of yours. Keeping a movie for 20 days is not irresponsible, it is called getting your money's worth. I've rented movies a few times that I really liked so I kept them for a week or two and watched them again before I took them back.

February 14, 200917 yr Our son's have rented movies/games from Blockbuster and we do receive a message on our answering machine about 1 day before we will have to purchase the items if they are not returned. Sometimes they want to purchase the movie/game and sometimes they hop in the car to return the items before the items are charged to our account.

February 14, 200917 yr Nope, I'm not a better person than you, it looks like you bust your behind for your family and should be given credit for that. Seriously...I think you're a better person than me. I try to remember everything...but I will be the first to admit, that if something isn't a priority for me, I tend to be forgetful about them. But, that's why I switched to Netflix. The money I had to pay made me realize that if I wasn't going to be responsible enough to get the movies back on time, it would be better for me to find a way to rent movies without those kinds of penalties. These days, my movie habits are kind of split. I rent a lot of Netflix movies, for one flat fee a month. But, I also go to Blockbuster and Hollywood video and pickup used movies cheap that I NEVER have to return. I usually do the 4/20 deal, or the 3/20, depending upon how badly I want whatever movies. That is what I want to know... for you to keep them for so long they must have been pretty good! :lol: Actually, the first time Blockbuster charged me for two late movies... was the last time I ever stepped into their store. That was years ago.. I inserted the movies into the slot... return a week or two for another rental and they said the movies were returned late. Done. Finished. See ya! I go to McDonalds and pay a $1.
February 14, 200917 yr Do you like Netflix? Netflix is pretty much awesome. If I remember correctly when I opened by blockbuster card they told me after a week you buy the movie. Hope they were good ones at least. :lol:
