Yeah it concerns me as well.

I just wish they would get over those first quarter slow starts, Scares me.

If you put it that way when is Elliot going to get theirs. Your statement cancels out their win against Mason. If Mason isn't legit then neither is Elliot's win against them.

Was you at this game? Our little gym was packed to compacity, you could not even hear the person next to you while they were yelling in your ear, because that gym was so loud, and Elliott played as good as any team in the state in the second half. Glad you think we are a top 10 team, we appriciate the reconition, however there are not many schools where the fans are as intense and devoted as Elliott County.:thumb:

No I was not at this game. As you'll notice in my post, I did say "maybe you have to be there to take it in." It did look very full. Just when I think "atmosphere", I think more than just a large crowd and noise- Ballard, Mason Co., etc. have experienced that at Rupp. I think student sections, creativity, etc.

You just can't stand to give Elliott the respect they're due! :idunno:

It is worth noting that I said that I thought Elliott is a top 10 school even before this game.

 

I really didn't intend to criticize Elliott. They are a fine team who can knock down open shots. I haven't seen much but I think T. Knipp should get the ball everytime down the floor. I don't know if I think they match up with Holmes or SC well, but we'll see!

Great game. Mason continues to be a threatning team from outside.

 

Ended up sitting by Trevor Setty. He and his friends came over and sit on row one of Elliott's side. They took some abuse, but never failed to cheer for their team. As must as I wanted to dislike him (because of last year), it was impossible. A very respectable young man!

FWIW, I thought Elliott was a top 10 team in the state, I did before this game, and I still do.

Congrats to the Lions on the win. This year's Mason County team has to do it with defense, and it sounds like that didn't happen tonight.

Elliott Co. won this game by 15 that makes them legit .Mason Co. has lost to Scott Co.,GRC and now Elliott it just makes me wonder where they will end there season.

Congrats to Elliott County. They finally have a win against a ranked team in Kentucky. I still don't see them in the Top 5 unless they beat Ballard and then Shelby Valley should still be ahead of them.
