Big convincing win!

I am waiting to hear about all of the posters claiming their spots (as promised in prior threads) on the bandwagon.

I don't think there's any serious argument to be made that EC is not legit, regardless of what happens with Ballard.

I just got back from the game and it was a good one!!! Elliott went down 0-8 early tied it by the half and in the second half they turned up the heat and took control of the game! Great job boys, I am so proud of you, now lets go get Fleming and Ballard!!!!

I hope I don't come off as a "hater", but, from watching the 2nd half:

1. Neither team impressed me, at all. I have a hard time believing either could compete with Holmes or Scott County. Individually, T. Knipp and Pawsat both looked good. I do admit that Elliott can hit some shots.

2. From the other thread, people said Ballard will be in an atmosphere that they have never experienced. Was the experience Sandy Hook special tonight? Maybe you have to be there to take it in, but from what I saw it was like a CovCath game against an average opponent (any year but this one )

3. I know it is not Elliott's style, and it turned out more than fine for them, but it would be smart for EC to slow it down a bit when up 15 in the last few minutes. They would get up 15 and then try to run and turn it over or miss a shot and let MC back in the game

I agree that tonight the Lions made a statement that they are indeed legit.:thumb:

FWIW, I thought Elliott was a top 10 team in the state, I did before this game, and I still do.

Nice win Elliott. Was this one in Sandy Hook??

What ? Elliott Co put 50 points on the board in the second half. :idunno:

Congrats to Elliott on the victory. Very impressive win.

Was you at this game? Our little gym was packed to compacity, you could not even hear the person next to you while they were yelling in your ear, because that gym was so loud, and Elliott played as good as any team in the state in the second half. Glad you think we are a top 10 team, we appriciate the reconition, however there are not many schools where the fans are as intense and devoted as Elliott County.:thumb:

Better be glad that Fire Marshall Bill wasnt there. Seemed to be over the occupancy limit on my TV Screen. I am sure my local Fire Marshall buddy didnt attend, if he did, he had his eyes closed and didnt count the amount of people in the Gym.

Congrats to Elliott County on the good win.

How about them Lions!! Way to go boys, what a game!! Congrats on a great win!!!

Like I said this one was not close. I was very happy to see the boys play the way they could. You can't compete with the guard play when Elliott County is on. Great win for the lions! Now the real test is Saturday against Ballard. So proud of these boys and eta should have come to watch the best team in Kentucky tonight because I had his t-shirt.

Why didn't Mason Co have Barner in the game in the 2nd Half?
