LOL good point. However I stayed after school and went over to the gym at 4:30; if I hadnt had sit for three hours waiting for the game I might have went to the PAC; but :dancingpanothing like seeing it in person!

Congratulations to Elliott County and a "good quality win against a ranked Kentucky team". If it was on a "neutral court", you would have gotten some more respect from some members. But, what the heck 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

Great win for Elliott. Evan Faulkner had a huge night in front of his future college coaches. Tonight it was the penetration of Elliott's guards that gave Mason County fits. Good defensive job by Ethan on Middleton, even if he did get 20. He worked for all of them. Elliott did a much better job in the second half on the boards and that was a big factor. Ferguson turned ina very workmanlife performance and T. Knipp more than held his own while spending an unusual amount of time inside. Mason is an excellent team and we will probably see them again in March.

Hard to beat a team that shoots 74% in the second half. Congrats to Elliot. Evan Faulkner had a heck of a ball game.

 

Keep your heads up Mason. You started out strong, just ran out of juice the second half. Too many careless fouls and turnovers.

I said it in another post, but what a night for high school ball. Elliott beats a top ten team that many wanted to see to prove Elliott was legit, and big bad Holmes lost a game to a non top 20 team. But a loss for any team this kind of year usually helps them in March. Hopefully Elliott loss againest Shelby Valley was there wake up call as I am sure Holmes loss tonight was theirs.
