January 11, 200917 yr Isn't USC's LB'r coach Ken Norton? What makes you think he'd leave that position to come to Louisville? I think he was just promoted to assistant head coach or something like that. Only time he would leave there is to maybe be a HC somewhere or possibly a DC at UCLA.
January 11, 200917 yr I guess you glanced over the "empty the pocketbook" part. Regardless of what the reason is for Miller's leaving, it enhances an already dire perception (which if far more impactful than reality) of where the program is and where it is going. These are dark days for my Cards. Nope, I read that part too. But I doubt Ken Norton is hurting for money and I don't think it'd be a great philosophy to pay your defensive coordinator more than your head coach.

They are a long ways off from providing stability because it takes almost 2-3 cycles to get a good group in and redshirt them, which the stable programs do. I feel bad for Kragthorpe because it isn't seemingly getting better.

January 12, 200917 yr Okay when is the storm over. I am starting the believe we are living in the RON COOPER era again. While I think things are bad please do not compare this situation to Ron Cooper. Cooper was a slim ball and awful coach. Coach K is not a bad coach and seems to be a nice guy. Just think he bit off more than he can chew.
