Little NFL trivia I heard today

Woodson or Lott?

Wasn't Lott was a safety?

Woodson was going to be my initial guess, but he spent a portion of his career at safety as well.

I was thinking Darrell Green as well, so apparently I missed the boat on this one.

When he retired, I remember he was near the top all time in games played, only surrounded by kickers/punters and Bruce Matthews. Maybe he did not play at corner all those times? I am interested in the answer.

Darrell Green came to mind first. But obviously that's not correct.

So, was torn between going with Rod Woodson or Dick LeBeau. But, I know Woodson did spend some time at safety, and LeBeau would've played with the shorter seasons. So, my luck is that neither is the answer!

Which leaves "Prime Time" Deion Sanders!

Hey Stick, brother there needs to be a limit of time you can dangle that one out there, so what is the answer already?

I'm going with Darrell Green...like most others, it was the name that immediately came to mind.

Lott played corner for his first four seasons and switched to safety after that.

He made the pro bowl all four years he played corner. In his rookie season he intercepted seven passes, returning 3 for TD's. In 52 career games as a cornerback, he intercepted 17 passes and returned 4 for TD's.

He had 63 picks and 5 TD returns for his career. It's interesting that as a rookie he returned 3 picks for TD's and, for the rest of his career, he intercepted 56 more passes and only returned two for TD's.

Ronde Barber

three more that come to mind Eric Allen,Ken Riley, and Ty Law

First one in my head too but all are wrong.....

Darrell Greene is the answer I got when I looked it up.

Green is the answer.

Jeff Feagles?

Probably not correct, I just know he was around in the late 80s / early 90s and is still playing. I assume it is a kicker/punter.

He's the Giants punter .

Corner on defense. Feagles wouldn't count. :thumb:

Lester Hayes. Thought I'd throw one out for fun. :D

Good gosh, you would think I would read these threads sometimes

My bad. :D

He already laughed at himself. You don't have to pile on when a man's already embarrassed himself. :irked::lol:

I was going to say Pacman Jones.

Dick Lebeu

I had no idea. I also didn't realize he is 71 or 72 years old. There should be a place in the Hall of Fame for him IMO. I don't think it will happen but as a none Steelers fan he is special!

Where in the world are you getting that answer? Everthing I've read states that Greene has the record.
