Holmes could...but won't happen for two reasons:

 

1. Holy Cross will slow the game down too much.

2. Henley has too much class to let it get that bad.

How does HC score in this game?

 

Holmes pulls their varsity would be my guess as to how and when HC will score.

Holmes by 14. They will do what they need to win and probably not a lot more.

 

It looks like Holmes will have little to no challenge in the 9th this year, with the possible exceptions of Boone and Highlands.

 

I would be concerned that they may run the table in the regular season and then be at risk of a letdown in a regional game and stumble. That appears to be the only way they don't roll into Rupp!

I just have to comment on Clyde saying that Holy Cross will only score 12 points. Even if the varsity team would be held to that few of points, which I doubt, the JV teams for both teams would come out and surly Holy Cross will score more than 12 points.

Remember the boys game is at 6pm and the girls game is scheduled at 8 pm this year.

KHSAA has the boys game for 7:45 and the girls game for 8:00...both at Holmes. :irked:
