January 14, 200917 yr I've worked out (both Cardio and Weight lifting) all but 11 of the 14 days to start 2009 and have yet to have a drink of pop this year. Thats huge for me because I used to average at least 4 or 5 pops a day...
January 14, 200917 yr Going back to school has made a huge difference for me. At one point during the first week of the competition I had actually gained a pound or two:lol: I'm back on track now that I have my schedule straightened out. I'm also going to be lifting 3 or 4 days a week this time around so I think I will actually lose less weight but the weight loss will show much more on my body.
January 14, 200917 yr Author I am starting to be pretty consistant as well, now that I am on a set schedule.
January 14, 200917 yr I am starting to be pretty consistant as well, now that I am on a set schedule. Staying up until 3 and 4 in the morning and sleeping all day was killing me.
January 14, 200917 yr Still haven't drank a sip of pop... The banana finally dances for me! :ylsuper:
January 15, 200917 yr I have yet to lose a pound...but I haven't gained an ounce. I feel like I'm eating CONSTANTLY. But, I seem to have gotten my body on a new path. If I don't eat 5-6 times a day now, I'm STARVING! I eat my breakfast at around 6:30, as soon as I get to work. I have a fruit something or another around 8 or 9, then by 11 I'm ravenous! I usually have soup and crackers for lunch, with a carrot, then some animal crackers mid-afternoon, and right before I leave work, an apple. I get home around 7, and I either have soup or a sandwich, another apple, then a few vanilla wafers right before I go to bed. So far, I haven't broken 1400 calories. I put in my "normal" days food consumption into the calculator for comparison, and found I wasn't even getting 1000 calories most days! I think I know why my metabolism was kaput! I talked to someone who told me that as my body gets used to a steady caloric intake that's normal, I should start to drop some pounds. I sure hope so! On the bright side, I'm beginning to notice that I'm not as tired anymore, and that I'm able to concentrate better! I'm beginning to feel better, certainly!
January 15, 200917 yr "Feed a Cold, Starve a Fever" does that help. LOLI think I've gone into full blown malaria. Been a bad couple days...but good for the diet.
January 15, 200917 yr We have done real well, today when we went into school the asst. principal had gotten Crispie Creame(hot out of the oven) doughnuts and as we walked in we saw them and we both said at the same time "Walk Away from the Doughnuts" and we backed out of the admn. workroom. I really wanted one but I stayed away. We both are starting to feel better and have more energy. I'm going to weigh in the morning to see what I have done.
January 15, 200917 yr I really do feel a lot better since I started eating less and working out more.
January 15, 200917 yr For those who care. Gaining weight is fun! Would you take it personally if I said I hated you?
January 15, 200917 yr I'm kinda excited, did cardio again today, which is weird for me. If I can do atleast a few hours of cardio a week I think I'll see a huge difference by march. In the 3 days this week I've been lifting I've already gained ALOT of energy back.
January 15, 200917 yr I'm kinda bummed out this morning. I haven't cheated for the 2 weeks and when I got on the scales this morning for the first time, the results where not as good as I had hoped for. :madman: It's still possiable to hit my goal and I have untill Sunday to work harder to reach it.
