It's Official: BGP Biggest Loser Initial Weigh-In

To be honest, the person who wants to lose 15 pounds in 2 weeks, youre better off trying to lose less. In two weeks, at most, you should lose 5 pounds. [i understand this might be a bit different for men]. But last year when you lost 70, was it in a fairly quick amount of time? Because the quicker you lose weight, the more likely it is to be piled back on. If you lose it slowly, it usually stays off.

That might be the case for a smaller woman or a slightly overweight man, but for me and my 289lbs. (starting weight) 15lbs. for the first 2 weeks is not alot. Thats not much of a difference than a 150lb. woman wanting to lose 3.5lbs in a week. I'm bigger and the weight loss will be greater.

I have lost weight everyway known to man.

I've done the Atkins for 1 year (92lbs. lost)

Low Fat and working out (80lbs. lost)

Counting Calories (70lb. lost last year)

If I do not get results, I will not stay on it. If I'm gonna go hungry, I better see results or it's not worth it.

Losing is not the problem, It's keeping it off.

Well quitting won't keep it off lol.

I'm currently down 8 pounds. I'd say it will end up being around 5 after this weekend. I'd be happy with 5 pounds every two weeks. That would be about a 60 pound loss for me by the time the competition is over.

I know I'm not in the competetion or whatever you guys have going on but I have lost about 60 lbs since last December. Eating much better and working out 4-5 days a week. I pretty proud of myself.

I did my weigh in this morning since I have to be out of town this weekend. Over the last two weeks I have been to the gym eight times and the diet has been going pretty well. Man I have to cheat every now and then.

Da Champ is now down to 270, thats 10 pounds !! :dancingpa

Feeling pretty doggone good about it !!!

Don't forget...next weigh-in is on Sunday.

I had my first cheat night of the week tonight, gotta work it off tomorrow.

That's great man. I like the way I have eased into getting in shape this time. Usually I go all out. I have gradually worked my way on the treadmill. Usually I get shin splints so bad I can't run. I've taken it slow and other than the first day it has gone well.

I'm gonna go ahead and weigh in now. 230 for me. SWEET!!!!
