January 15, 200917 yr Goal is 15lbs. for first 2 weeks. I know about half of that would be water. For me to survive a diet, I have to have results. I have been off and on diets all my life. Last year I lost 70lbs. from Jan to May and from May to Jan I had gained 50 back. I've gone to my docttor and have had blood work done. Everything is great and nothing is close to being bad or boarderline. I guess, I was just meant to be bigger than average.
January 15, 200917 yr I have maybe lost a 1/2 pound and I HAVE NOT cheated. This is discouraging. I, like Rebel, need to see results to stay motivated. Maybe by Sunday it will show a little more.

Do you feel any better or any different, that's the key to all of this, I'm not in it for looking better just feeling better, I'm 53 years old I just want to be around for my next set of grandkids.

January 15, 200917 yr To be honest, the person who wants to lose 15 pounds in 2 weeks, youre better off trying to lose less. In two weeks, at most, you should lose 5 pounds. [i understand this might be a bit different for men]. But last year when you lost 70, was it in a fairly quick amount of time? Because the quicker you lose weight, the more likely it is to be piled back on. If you lose it slowly, it usually stays off.
January 15, 200917 yr I weighed again today and I've finally lost some! I've lost a whole pound!
January 15, 200917 yr For the record, Im a total bum and have not worked out and I've been eating..eh. And I've lost 3 pounds. SO I have decided that I am actually going to work out and try to eat better to at least see if I can improve upon this. I just need to actually start to work out now ha.

January 15, 200917 yr Author I am probably going to have about ten pounds off after the first two weeks.
January 15, 200917 yr I am probably going to have about ten pounds off after the first two weeks. I'm still exactly the same weight, I'll measure the inches the first weekend in February.
January 15, 200917 yr Been working out to? I have spear headed a workout campaign with the faculty and staff at our school (I have to have someone to do this with that has a similar schedule---or I just won't do it.) I ordered some workout videos over Christmas break and they just came. So we are going to start next Wednesday (we're off on Monday) and do this 2 days a week because of ESS and other commitments. Hopefully this will help get things going for me.
