January 3, 200917 yr Deimos, congratulations on your loss! I'll bet you feel better overall, too, don't you?
January 3, 200917 yr I need to cut down on beer/wine and exercise a little more. I'd love to join this but honestly I don't really need to gain/or lose any weight. I just need to tone up the fat I have, get a "summer body", and get back in shape since I quit smoking 7 or 8 months ago. I didn't realize how bad in shape I have gotten until I boxed on the Wii for several hours yesterday. The beer/wine part is going to be really hard, I like to drink wine with supper quite a bit and I tried a Miller 64 yesterday, they are awful. Plus, I don't like gyms or lifting weights, never have, and probably never will...it is too boring for me. Anyone have any ideas on exercises I can do at home and don't require expensive equipment (besides longer walks with the dog).

January 3, 200917 yr Author Great your final cravings in today. I am going to make a thread pretty late tonight to start the event because I am sure some would want to post their weights in the morning and I may not be awake yet. So, be looking for the weigh-in thread tomorrow and hopefully I will be able to get a moderator to sticky it.

I've been eating like a horse the last few weeks and plan on doing the same tomorrow. The first 10-15 pounds should come off real quick for me

January 3, 200917 yr Author I am going to need to be reminded on weigh in days b/c I don't have a scale. Well tomorrow is your first, but if for whatever reason someone forgets or can't get their weight in til Monday...it's no big deal. The goal isn't to win the competition, cause there really isn't a prize lol...the goal is to lose weight as a group and feel good about ourselves when it's done. Did we decide on a total amount we want to lose as a group? I know BF was talking about it before.
January 3, 200917 yr Yeah, anytime tomorrow I guess. I was gonna post mine later in the evening lol. Same here. I'm thinking an hour or two after the UK game.

With our current list of participants, that comes out to 25.64 lbs. per person. If we can get one more person to throw their hat into the ring, we can make it a nice, neat 25 lbs. each.
January 3, 200917 yr Author Well a 1000 pounds it is... I plan to have my share of it off for sure by the six month mark. Not it's a matter of keeping it there and maybe shedding a few more too.
