January 4, 200917 yr Author I think it sounds great. Rockmom actually started a blog for something like that. She spoke about it in the "sticky thread". I think that would be a perfect place for something like that if people were to use it. If not, I am sure people will post tips throughout the whole thing because I am sure I will benefit them as well.
January 4, 200917 yr I just ate some veggies and light ranch. That was yummy. Just having a hard time finding things to snack on and satisfy me. What about peanuts?Pickle spears hardly have any calories.
January 4, 200917 yr Pickle spears hardly have any calories. But, you've got to watch the sodium. It leads to water weight.
January 4, 200917 yr I love to snack and eat here and there all day. I am not good an knowing wht is a good snack and good meals. So If people have things that they do to hold off splurging or favorite easy meals.I like to munch on pretzel sticks. Another good thing to try are the South Beach Diet high protein cereal bars. They have 140 calories; but they're packed with ten grams of protein and ten vitamins & minerals. They come in several different flavors--I prefer the peanut butter. They're great for fighting off the hungries.
January 5, 200917 yr Author After a great basketball, with an unfortunate outcome, and a wonderful football game with a very favorable outcome... I decided to sit down with mom and watch a movie. We chose 88 minutes with Al Pacino, anyone seen it?

January 5, 200917 yr Is apple juice bad for you when trying to lose weight? I'm not too savvy when it comes to choosing "healthy" food and drinks. I'm going to start bringing my own lunch to work. What should I bring? Not a fan of fruits and vegetables so help me out. Turkey sandwich maybe? What brand of turkey? What type of bread? I don't put any condiments on my sandwiches so I'll be good in that category.

Be careful though; because it has a fair amount of sugar calories. Turkey is a great choice! You can't do much better than that for lean protein. For bread, I've been using Pepperidge Farm's very thin white. It only has 40 (compared to the normal 60) calories per slice. Btw, I hear you on the vegies....not a fan.

I haven't been to the grocery store yet but tomorrow I will and I'll be looking for some low calorie turkey and the Pepperidge Farm bread. Thanks! :thumb:
