Do you read the thread? lol This was posted right before yours... The last time two UK teammates both went for 30 or more points in the same game was December 10, 1975. Jack Givens had 31 and Rick Robey had 30 for the Cats against Miami (Ohio). Very impressive game tonight for Meeks and Patterson and this Kentucky squad. They're starting to get better in a hurry.

They haven't played a team of UNC's caliber since UNC, however I don't think any one in the US has played anyone on caliber with UNC, because there isn't one. However I think if they were playing anyone that they've lost to at this point, I really really don't think they'd lose. Should be a good game.

Here are some fun stats: Meeks is 4th in the country in scoring (24.8 ppg) Patterson is 2nd in the country in FG% (71.1%) Meeks is 28th in the country in FT% (88.2%) Stevenson is tied for 14th in the country in total blocks (29) Patterson is tied for 39th in the country in rebounds per game (9.1)

No you're not, I watch all of the UK games and I'm a UK fan but find these games are very boring. The sad thing about this , the average fan doesn't know good competition from bad. I felt it would be a 40 point game before it started and I think most did. Very boring. The visiting team has to get a huge sum of money for their embarrassment.
