I'll take the bet straight up if he doesn't, although I know he will. I am with Wireman on this.

Fair enough...

I'll sport a Covington Catholic avatar for a week, U of L avatar for the both of you...

The one thing that really has me scratching my head still is the Cats are up by 50 with under 5 minutes to go and still has Pat and Jodie Meeks in the game.....I know BCG bases all playing time on practice performance but it isn't worth the risk IMO...

I was told that's his way of trying to make them better.

Actually, I'll take UK and give you 1 1/2 points. :thumb:

Good luck.

I do not need the points from a fellow Mets fan... St8 up is fine.:thumb: Deal?

Ok! :thumb:

Nice to see the Cats do to a team of this caliber what they should. Hopefully they will continue to get better when the bigger games come around.

Meeks hit 7 3's in the 1st half.

That is impressive, but it begs the question: What in the world is Tennessee St. doing?

I wonder when was the last time 2 UK players scored 30 points.

Usually its great if you get two to combine for 30 points

I wonder when was the last time 2 UK players scored 30 points.

The last time two UK teammates both went for 30 or more points in the same game was December 10, 1975. Jack Givens had 31 and Rick Robey had 30 for the Cats against Miami (Ohio).

Very impressive game tonight for Meeks and Patterson and this Kentucky squad. They're starting to get better in a hurry.

When was the last time 2 players scored 30 for KY? My father asked me this same thing, and I guessed Anderson and Mercer, but I don't really have a clue, does anybody know this? Great game tonight, we were there, and it was awesome watching it live, even though some old lady behind me deafened me with "Go Defense" and C'mon Cats".

As expected, again Meeks and Patterson had great games, but the big stat to me was 30 assists for Kentucky as a team.

They are moving the ball and cutting down turnovers, those are signs that things are getting better in a hurry.

Exactly, I remember the other day against Appy State at one point they had like 29 baskets and 24 assists or something to that effect. That is playing team ball.

Great game by all. Patterson showed why if we get him the ball more we will be successful. Meeks has been shooting the lights out lately. Galloway and Liggins and Porter have all been playing well, Stevenson has as well. Darius needs to starting being more confident. When he gets the ball, it always looks like he doesn't know what to do. He just needs some confidence.

I think part of Darius's problem and this is just a shot in the dark, is that well he's a freshmen so he doesn't want to "do more than people think he should be trying to do", and the stigma of being an in state product, he always is going to have people questioning him. Honestly I think about what guys like Dickie V always say about freshmen come march, and that's that they aren't freshmen anymore, they've got some experience, and they're basically sophomores now. I think if Darius starts being a contributor, he could possibly be a solid 6'th man off the bench, he has all of the tools to be.

Not a newcomer to NCAA sports at all. That was a simple dig at UK athletics. Also, there are plenty of ways around that 20 hour rule.

And a sad one at that.

Meeks hit 7 3's in the 1st half.

That is impressive, but it begs the question: What in the world is Tennessee St. doing?

Not guarding him...

Maybe TSU should have taken the approach that one team did to Davidson with Curry. Hold Meeks to 0 points and they may have won.:D
