Beatty's first season was in 2000. He has been to the state finals every year but one. The following are Trinity's season results since he showed up in St. Matthews...

2000: State Runner-Up (Male)

2001: State Champion

2002: State Champion

2003: State Champion

2004: Third Round (Dixie Heights, St. X was state champ)

2005: State Champion

2006: State Champion

2007: State Champion

2008: State Champion

2004 was a second round defeat.

^ Thanks. I thought I might've missed that by a round.

CR, you don't have to tell me about uproars. Just suggest that a certain school move up to 6A and see what happens. WOW, talk about an uproar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He came in 2000. He's won 7 titles and has 1 runner-up. He is 40-2 in the playoffs.

"AND YOU CAN'T HAVE HIM"................:D:D

How cool would that be ?

We could really have some interesting discussions then.

We got 18!! and keeping pace!!

Would never dream of insulting him but I'm good with who we have. Thanks anyway. Very, very impressive record.

Nah, we'd have to listen to all the excuses as to why you can't beat a school a third your size. You do know Beatty has proven unable to beat HHS, right?

Thats crazy! I guess you could say Trinity is somewhat of a dynasty of the 2000's. I mean winning 7-9 in 00s is ridiculous for real. BTW, the sweatshirts are awesome. I am not a Trinity fan, but I do respect them (and Highlands) more than any other school in the state. Conrats on #19!

I am a clock maker and avid milk drinker. I find it most offensive that you put the years in the format of a clock. NOT ALL CLOCKS ARE TRINITY CLOCKS! Also it is most presumptive to use the got milk slogan. Do you really think the cows out in the state care about THS? AND... the football seems to be blasting through northern Kentucky.. is that some sneaky comment on northern teams?

I love this hoodie! I don't even like trinity ;)

Nope, the football just missed us South Cincinnatians. But I do like that sweat shirt.

I know (because I was there) that we took on the Birds and lost. My recollection is that we made a game of it - at their place. No doubt about it they had the better team that night. That is the only loss I know of (Since the Beatty era). Please enlighten me if I am in error.

I could also be wrong about this - but was not that game during the Coach's Inaugural season ?

Now that he has had the time and opportunity to get his feet under him why don't we try it again. T will play anybody anytime. We are not afraid to loose - nor to play the best.

Don't hand me that "third of the size" malarkey. What is the size differential of H and those Cincy schools you tangle with?

"You play the best to be the best." Who is really ducking who?

CR - only problem I see is everyone will have to wear a 4XL to see all the dates. That is a good thing when you have 19 to be proud of. Congrats good luck on getting #20.

Good lordy. You guys just won't leave this alone. Every one that I know realizes that T won't duck anyone. But for some reason some T people won't give Highlands the same respect and they think that Highlands is ducking them. In light of the fact that we've played some very good schools over the years (St. X, Elder, Colerain, etc), can one logically think we are ducking T? Just think about that for a minute and let it register. I know for a fact that Highlands and Trinity had serious discussions about playing next year. Unfortunately due to the lack of common open dates, it could not be done. Dale loves to play the best teams he can and he knows he will should have an extremely good team next year. I think if there was any practical way possible that we could meet next year, Dale would have done so. Enjoy 19. We are enjoying 18 and will again be shooting to tie it up next year, although I'm not one of those Highlands fans that are focused on having more state titles than Trinity. We are quite proud of what we have and are accomplishing, particularly in light of our size. I'm not sure that many T people respect our accomplishments, but I think a lot of other people in the Commonwealth do.
