Congrats to Josh Alber on making honorable mention all-state at LB. Pay attention to this kid next season. He's a force to be reckoned with.

wrong information

Williamsburg's QB Ryan Moses

Patterson has an offer from UK and he may be the best of he, Mister Cobble, and Ridge Wilson. Gotta put him in the top 5 juniors. Any stats on him? How did he play in the title game? Central's coach seems to have awoken a sleeping giant.

Next season mr football is going to be one of 5 players in order

LB/TE/RB Tim Patterson(Central High)-front runner after todays game, should get help as team should be favorite to 3 peat next year. He has got to be one of the best players in the country, and could get recognition at one of many positions...can you say micah johnson.

RB Jeremiah Neal(ST.X) Neal almost stepped outa The Duece's shadow this season, and had a huge year as a change up back. Next season could be huge for this tiger.

RB/SS Channing Fugate(Breathitt Co.) huge numbers agaisnt one of the mountains more difficult schedules. A huge ball player, who gives it his all every play earned respect today in louisville.

RB/DE Tyrell Willis(Calloway Co.)A clone of mich bush, maybe even a bit bigger. I got to see this guy in person and he may be the most athletic big guy i have ever seen. Willis put up great numbers, and is a dual threat, with his rushes and pass catching ability.

QB Jacob Russell(Anderson Co.)A great drop back passer with a killer arm, and very surprising footwork for a player of his size. Around 6'5" and 220lbs. Russell is a huge guy, allowing his to see over lb's on route to throwing 30 tds as a junior. Should be one of the premier qb's in the state next year

Josh Alber from Ashland FB/LB rushed for over a thousand yards as a fullback and had around 25 TD's is a solid player on both sides of the ball. He was honorable mention All-Atate this year could possibly make first team next year.

Rashard Carter from Ashland RB. He rushed for 1500 yds. His versatility and speed is amazing! Watch out for this Senior next year!

McCreary Central

These are some kidds who were play makers either on defense, offense or both in 2008.

Aaron Watts QB/Safety

Zach Roark TB/ SS

Dustin Stephens WR/CB

James Ball OG/DE

Preston Shoopman FB/LB

The following kidds we believe will also be huge play makers for us in 2009:

Steven Snead OL/LB

Ricky Tripplett OL/DL

A couple of juniors from 1A Harlan that bear watching and deserve mention:

Kenny Pennington 6'1" 190lb. QB/LB Top notch LB.

James Hill 6'1 220lb. OL/DL Would probably shine as a FB but plays where needed.

Conner QB Nick West.

Boone County RB Charles Quainoo.

Simon Kenton RB Miles Simpson.

Highlands DB/WR Austin Collinsworth.

Good call..:thumb:

Montgomery County Linebacker Zack Hood is one to watch. Only played 6 games his so. season and had 75 tackles. He recorded 125 tackles this year in 10 games. He is 5'11 215lbs. benches 315, squats 450. Runs around a 4.8. Very aggressive player that will hit people.

Yes he is very good but Trinity stopped him easily. Not trying to take anything away from him, he is very good. Aren't there colleges looking at him?

Conner QB Nick West.

Boone County RB Charles Quainoo.

Simon Kenton RB Miles Simpson.

Highlands DB/WR Austin Collinsworth.

comply w/Rule #13

Mike Howard-O/L, Cody Marcum-Center, Billy Lawson-D/L Bell County. Massive power and talent.

How about Kevin Connoughton (Sp?) (CCH) he is second team all state as a junior.

I look forward to the "unknown soldier" who is burning and yearning to be on the field. Working, sweating, running, lifting to get BSF (Bigger, Stronger, Faster). HHS had several of these individuals and THEY are the ones that make a good team GREAT! '09 will be so FINE! "WHO YA' ROOTIN' FOR?"

Andrews of Fort Campbell was very impressive in both semi final and state final games. Neil Wilson of Monroe Co. was one of the best ends in class AA this year. Look for both these men to have big years in 09.
