Next season mr football is going to be one of 5 players in order LB/TE/RB Tim Patterson(Central High)-front runner after todays game, should get help as team should be favorite to 3 peat next year. He has got to be one of the best players in the country, and could get recognition at one of many positions...can you say micah johnson. RB Jeremiah Neal(ST.X) Neal almost stepped outa The Duece's shadow this season, and had a huge year as a change up back. Next season could be huge for this tiger. RB/SS Channing Fugate(Breathitt Co.) huge numbers agaisnt one of the mountains more difficult schedules. A huge ball player, who gives it his all every play earned respect today in louisville. RB/DE Tyrell Willis(Calloway Co.)A clone of mich bush, maybe even a bit bigger. I got to see this guy in person and he may be the most athletic big guy i have ever seen. Willis put up great numbers, and is a dual threat, with his rushes and pass catching ability. QB Jacob Russell(Anderson Co.)A great drop back passer with a killer arm, and very surprising footwork for a player of his size. Around 6'5" and 220lbs. Russell is a huge guy, allowing his to see over lb's on route to throwing 30 tds as a junior. Should be one of the premier qb's in the state next year

Anyone know how many tackles Patterson had? What about MVP honors? -

Congrats to Central on a great season, back to back state titles -
Bowling Green high has 4 players first of second team Warren East has a player first team Greenwood has 2 hm players So I guess we all know who the Bowling Green papers voted for right?? None of those teams listed made it past the second round of the playoffs...hmmm... I guess its kinda like the cowboys sending 16 players to the pro bowl but get beat in the divisional game.

This threads poll is so misleading, BC has gotten every home town vote their is, and Central...well Central got everyone who is thinking rationally. This is going to be a great game, BC has gotten a lot better over the last couple of years to get back in this position, but say they are favored is a tall order. BC seems to be running to football, and running it well. Which is exactly what Central wants them to do, with all that D1 talent and size in the middle So that match-up is going to be a major key to scoring a win. second is going to be BC ability to get open on the play action, Central has struggled against the air all season, but...to the likes of X, Highlands, Manual and Western. Last season Belfry had several chances with the play action but couldn't capitalize. Finally the kicking game, i havnt heard much out of BC's special teams, besides the blocked punt last week. Central has tons of speed on the returns and blocks..IF the bobcats can hold their own and just tie on special teams, it improves their chances. Good luck to both teams, this is going to be a good game. Last season i believe the 3A game had the second largest crowd, so it will be fun

This was a great season for Bullitt Central. Most people didnt project them to win no more than two or three games, and to pull out eight victories is a huge success story Congrats to the Cougars, most wins in a season in 18 years. -

I didnt realize that neither team had won a playoff game, so either team is going to have a historic night. I just like the eagles because they have won three of their last four, two of which were over class 4A competition. good luck to both teams!!!! -

I see shawnee getting their first playoff win ever. 28-21, congrats to coach Patterson on having a good season, and getting the eagles turned in the right direction -
The score of this game at halftime was 48-8, dragons were up big. after J*town took a 8-6 lead the start of the second quarter. Then a couple of Demetric Unsled touchdown passes blow up the scoreboard, as the dragons score 42 unanswered.

a real defensive struggle, both teams speed cancelled each other out and it just came down to the big plays. Central had the ball inside the redzone for 1st and 10 with 2 min. To go. This game also had some of the best talent has to offer on defense.
