I would think that RB Vashun Banks of Christian County would qualify. I'm not a Christian County backer so I don't have his stats, but the kid has put up some big numbers over the past two seasons and should have a banner year as a senior.

 

hooaah I would agree with you on that Banks will definately be a bright spot for Christian Co. next year. I do not know what CC has coming back as in linemen so he may have to create more next year.

If there is a D1 quality QB in NKY at this time, he is it. Probably a small stretch, but as much potential as many of the names touted in the D1 thread.

Roller will be just fine. He's a tough hard working kid that will pour his heart and soul into his rehabilititation. In the months that he can't yet be running, he'll be lifting and strengthening his upper body. He'll wear a brace to protect his knee next year, but I expect him to be every bit the player that he would have been without the knee injury, only with a much stronger upper body. And there is a big difference between Brandon's and Josh's injury: Josh's occurred his senior year, Brandon's occurred his junior year.

 

Brandon will have his entire senior year to show the college folks "he's back" and I have zero doubt that he'll be back better than ever. If I've learned one thing about the many Rollers I've had the pleasure to get to know, they are tougher than new leather. I truly feel sorry for the running backs on the other team we play in our first game next year because Brandon is going to be out to prove to everyone that he's better than ever. And I believe in the young man and his ability to do just so.:thumb:

Antonio will need to grow a couple of inches to seriously be considered as a D1 prospect at QB. He has 18 months until he graduates, so he has time to grow. He is an all-around football player and with his abilities could easily play defensive back at the next level. This is his first year as a Varsity starter, so I believe everybody is excited to see him improve even more next year.

 

Not that it means anything as far as staying in the state for college, but he does wear a UK handwarmer.

Watkins ended the year with 1192 yards rushing. 17 TD's (13 rushing, 2 other, 2 receiving), approximately 80 tackles, and approximately 6 sacks. He plays RB and OLB + special teams, he runs a 4.47 40 benches 290; cleans 290 and squats 455. He is being recruited by UK, Louisville, Western, Carson Newman, USB, and Centre. He attended game days for UK (invited to all home games,) Louisville, and Western this past season. He is an excellent student to go with it and if he can keep healthy will be a tremendous help to the Redhounds next year with Fritts, Taylor, Foley and others.

Dylan Curry (QB/DE) at Western Hills (Frankfort) has all the tools. He is 6'6" and 230 lbs. and runs a 4.7-4.8.

Seth Chappie from Lloyd. He's 5'9-170 lbs. This year he had 154 carries for 756 yards and 8 TD's on the ground.. That's pretty good considering Seydrick Walker was the horse this year for Lloyd.
