November 30, 200817 yr Pivotal point in the game was when Huggins decided to go to a 1-3-1 for whatever reason. Immediately Meeks hit a three and that jump started UK. They then scored again. Huggs timeout and mighty mo had swung to UK. UK still not too good. Maybe they have turned the corner a bit. WVU is very average however, fairly unimpressed with them...so I am not all that giddy but winning cures a lot.
November 30, 200817 yr Miami FL will be a huge test next Saturday. A good test, but not really. They are a good team, but they aren't unstoppable by any means. The Cats should beat them at Rupp.
November 30, 200817 yr He's got to be a little discouraged, and probably justifiably peeved, especially given Liggins situation last night. When the season started BCG probably thought Porter was the safer (not better) option thinking he could manage the game to a decent extent with his experience. Best possible scenario like a JP Blevins. It is simply not the case, while Liggins is young, he has better basketball instincts, he's a much better basketball palyer and has a world of upside.
