Unless Corbin is up deep into the 3rd quarter, there is no way they have a chance. NCC has dominated 2nd halfs of games this year. They wear down the other team so bad, that they rack up 4th quarter scores, quickly!

Up until NewCath's last game, they had been tackling pretty well, but not finding receivers. Last week, they didn't tackle well and didn't find receivers, they were just much better than De Sales. Against a team as physical as Corbin, you have to make sure tackles and not allow the Hounds to extend their drives. Corbin, I imagine, will have to pass a little more than normal, so that will be a key to the game.

 

I agree, if NCC gets beat this year, it will be through the air. Pass defense might be their only weakness.

Correct. As well, can NCC win the game with passing? If down by two scores late, can they come back in the air. I guess my own agrument to that is that they can score so fast on the ground, that it may not be necessary to throw untill there is a dire need

Thomas Magnum you talk about the big backs from Corbin, NCC has played big backs, fast backs all year it will be nothing new to them. They have also played against some great defenses, NewCath can score quick and often and playing away will not affect them, they will have a big crowd. Should be a great game but I see NewCath pulling away at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Is Kelly the same RB they had last year? Their RB last year had uncanny balance and would rarely go down on the first or second contact. Hopefully they learned a valuable lesson from him last year.

Depth could be a big factor in the outcome, the Hounds are not that deep with many of the main offensive weapons also the main defensive weapons. This has to be a big concern for the Corbin coaching staff since it seemed to come into play some last year as well.

One and the Same , also his younger brother is a hard runner too. I think that they are the 3rd and 4th Kelly brothers to play there.
