IMO the Bluebirds Defense is to deep and strong for any team in the state.

What did Central lose from last year's squad? I had heard the QB and 2 receivers graduated and that their huge O lineman was out with an acl issue. Anyone know more?

They also lost starting RB and 3A State Finals MVP Darrell Taylor and their tough FB/DL.

I can't see this one being very close Highlands has just too much talent. If Highlands comes out fired up they will name the score.

guess what I'm saying is Central beat Male, held them to about 150 yards total offense. They did'nt capitalize again'st the number 23 team in the nation, also out rushed and out gained them in total yards, but Central is by far not as good as Highlands. By the way Central runs an offense very close to Colerain's. This just does'nt make sense. Should be a great game for both teams; should prepare both of them for the playoffs.

I just can't believe that Central "hasn't met a team that compares to Highlands this year." By nearly all accounts Louisville Saint Xavier is better than Highlands (and maybe by a fairly significant margin, given what Saint X has done to Trinity and the rest of their competition this year).

 

Both teams have faced better teams than what they will see this week (Highlands has played Cincy Colerain and Central has played Saint Xavier).

 

Highlands better work hard this week and come out firing Friday night, or it's going to be a disappointing end to the regular season for HHS.

Will having just played St. X help or hurt the Jackets? I think it might help......knowing what is required to beat a great team..... (assuming no major injuries from the X games).
