I think JC wins this one in a close battle. They just seem be clicking in all phases of the game and don't look to be slowed down in the next 3 games.

I'm going to go with JC in a 42-14 victory. But would like to see it be closer. Good luck to both teams.

The best Ashland fans can hope for is that Dillon was the QB agianst Brian Station, Which he was not. The Back up QB fumbled seven times four of which station recovered. A stat that you can throw out when Dillon steps under center Friday night in Ashland. He don't have to throw when the team has 3,000 plus yards on the ground agianst alot better competition, then the EAGLES will face on Friday. Lets see if you are laughing at the QB Friday with three minutes left in the fourth JC 64 and Ashlad whatever Matney allows them.

 

Lets not make it sound like JK Hall isnt a quality QB as was the reason JC struggled with BS. Granted he is somewhat fumble prone, but he is also very athletic and one of our fastest players. He brings another deminsion to the game that Dennis cant. Both are great QB's and JC is lucky to have both. I would like to see JC put up 64 but Ashlands defense is much better than you are giving them credit for.

JK will be one of the greatest QBs ever or any thing else Matney puts him doing he can do it all just replying to a fan who was putting down Dillons stats up to now in a offence that everyone knows can pass cant pass does not matter were going to run run run!!!!!!!

I hope the Tomcat players read and respond. Apparently, some people think that Johnson Central will score on EVERY possession. The Tomcat defense must be very weak, in fact, they must be one of the softest defenses in the state.

No offense was taken here Czar, and certainly some fans are a little more over the edge than others...including me from time to time.

 

The field at Putnam is holding up extremely well considering the number of games which are played there. I would venture to say that the Bermuda turf, for late October, is in the best shape I have seen over the last decade. There is some precipitation in the forecast early this week, but by Friday night, it’s all clear.

 

The annual Kiwanis Bowl is held at Putnam this Thursday…a game which pits Ashland’s freshman squad against their Russell counterparts.

I do not agree with this statement in the least bit. Ashland has only allowed one team to score over 30 points this year and that was Woodford Co. in a game that Ashland still prevailed. Correct me if I'm wrong on this did Johnson Central score 54 on Woodford Co.? I believe so, guess what, so did Ashland your a mad man if you think that Ashland is going to get blown out. It is there senior night and it is for a district championship they wont lay down they will step up. Good Luck JC! GO TOMCATS!
