What are the playoff seedings if JCHS wins? Ashland wins?

I would recommend checking here for the latest info.

 

I am picking JC in a close game wouldn't shock me if Ashland pulls out a victory though.

Ashland is a good team...perhaps the best team in our Northeastern Kentucky area. Their schedule is just ridiculously difficult, though.

 

Might be second-best, but not better than Raceland, who has already beaten them.

Johnson Central 35-14.

Ashland is a good team...perhaps the best team in our Northeastern Kentucky area. Their schedule is just ridiculously difficult, though. I have to go with Johnson Central in this one although I will be pulling for the Tomcats to pull off the monumental upset.

Wont be close, Johnson Central will score at will. Ashland had a great year but havent seen anything like JC.

When I played for Ashland we played Henry Clay and Bryan Station, Ironton, Portsmouth West, Huntington Pony Express and Charleston Stonewall Jackson, the Highlands Bluebirds, New Port Cath. and other notable light weights and we gave as good as we got. I think we should play these guys and we should be able to hang with them. At the game last night I really thought Bryan Station had the look of a defeated team as they were going in at the half. Our guys up front took it to them good enough for us to win it in spite of all. I just thought on defense we could have done a little better if our contain people would have stayed home a little longer. Offensively a break here or there and we win. On a cold wet night like that keeping it simple probably makes sense. Stay with what you do well and you should pull it out.

 

As for this weekend anything can happen. One thing for sure we keep playing the ' good ' teams and Ashland, the players, and all involved will be the better for the effort. Football doesn't have anything to do with negotiating, it is guts and chin and fire, along with good coaching like they have right now! It seems to me that for the most part Ashland has always had good talent. To me nothing is missing from the picture except for us to keep working and things will work out fine.:thumb:

Central is without a doubt the favored team in this contest, and rightfully so. However, your formula for success omits one intangible which I believe most Johnson Countians would agree with:

Bigger + Faster + Stronger

I think some people are going to be surprised by the final score of this game. Ashland 2008 is not Ashland 2007.
