I can't believe all of these Grizzly addicts, the stuff is flat out awful.

I dip about 2 cans of Fine Cut Skoal a day, and have been doing so for 8 years. Tried to kick the habbit, I just can't.

Where do you buy all of your cans? And how often do you have to buy them?

Been dipping for 2 years now, been working on quitting actually but everytime I get close I end up failing. Its so hard when your used to taking one after you eat and when your trying to stop it just calls your name and you have to take one.

Man, you hit the nail on the head. While eating, halfway through the meal, Im thinking about how good that dip is going to taste.:thumb:

I used to be like that back in HS. But then I quit using as much because of work and school.

Now I really look forward to somewhere around that 5'th or 6'th beer when I'm drinking with the guys, because right around then it's time to unleash the grizzly bear.

:fight: Oh no you didnt:lol:

Pretty sure he just insulted your nameliness!!!,.... and for those of you wondering, yes I did just create a new word.

I feel insulted:cry:

Actually it could also be considered your namelihood, it works either way really.

A friend asked me to try a dip of some type of wintergreen snuff about 25 years ago. Within a few minutes I was one sick dude, green in color, throwing up, and had to lay down on his sofa for about 30 minutes. I've never touched it since.

I've dipped for about four years and tell myself that I need to quit but I never get around to it. I can't imagine quitting until I get out of baseball. When my playing days are over and when I quit working in pro ball then I'll stand a chance.

But I started on Skoal mint and then transitioned to Grizzly mint/wintergreen/straight because it's cheaper and imo much smoother. Right now though I am dipping Red Man Wintergreen since I got a great deal on a case of it.

Used to use the stuff occasionally....

Our high school quarterback trained himself to swallow his dip spit so he could dip in class. About 3 years after high school he had part of his jaw removed surgically because he had oral cancer.

No thanks....

Skoal or Rooster snuff!

Any of you all every dipped Hawken? It comes in a green can and is wintergreen flavored. It isn't very stout and almost taste like having a Cert in your mouth. It's about the only stuff I could ever dip without getting sick.

Anyway, I used to dip occasionaly but haven't in a couple of years.

I've tried Hawken before but can't remember why I haven't tried it again....must have been bad or nothing worth remembering, IDK.

For those that question all the Grizzly users. IMO, it's the best cheap dip out there.

Yeah, it's not as good as Kodiak or Skoal, but it's a heck of a lot better than something like, say....Husky.
