Funny story about the "Thunderchicken". Came home my junior year with a friend after basketball practice and I had to get ready for a date. It was January and had snowed. I walked in the door and asked my mom, "Where's the car?". She said, "Your father and sister are over in the high school parking lot doing donuts". Dad came home and had gotten the car in such a bind turning donuts that he broke the exhaust off at the manifold and that thing sounded like I was running NASCAR. It was embarrasing at first since Ford simply didn't make a radio loud enough to hear. However, when you kicked her into passing gear, it was AWESOME. Everyone knew when I pulled into the parking lot at school even when they were inside.:D

Brand new 1998 Cobalt Blue Kia Sephia. My brother and I bought a car on the same day, so we got a killer deal--$9,600 each. Whenever the wind blew, I got a new dent in the car, but it got me where I needed to go. I even handed it down to my youngest brother when I was done with it. Between the two of us, we drove that thing for over nine years before we finally got rid of it. Not bad for a Kia!!!

1988 Delta 88 oldsmobile. I loved that car but I loved my second car too.

1985 Red and White Chevy Silverado

A "gorgeous" bright orange 1970-something Ford Pinto. An absolute chick magnet. ;):D

When I took it to college, one of the bolts holding down the distributor cap had sheered off and I couldn't afford to have it drilled out and replaced. Anytime it rained mositure would get underneath the distributor and it wouldn't start. If I thought it would rain overnight, I would stuff a blanket in the engine to try to keep the moisture out. If it rained unexpectedly, I would have to run an extension cord out of our apartment and hold a hair dryer to the distributor to try to dry it out. Man, those were the days!!

It did have a pretty nice stereo in it though. :thumb:

74 Ford F150 Pickup, 351 Windsor engine. Standard 3 speed shift on the column. Rough on the outside, but ran like crazy. I loved that old truck.

89 S-10 Blazer, had it dropped and had 15x10 rims on it, thought i was cool lol

It did have a pretty nice stereo in it though. :thumb:

And of course, that is all that mattered. :thumb:

1984 Pontiac Firebird. v6, automatic. Golden brown color. Dark brown interior. Rust in the wheel wells. I hated that car, but for the price, it was a steal.

1976 Malibu Classic. I still have the car and it is now primer grey not the original pale yellow. It still only has 77,000 miles because got a small pickup right after it.

1. 1974 Chevy Cheyenne Super 10 pickup truck complete with 8 track player!

2. The first car I bought was a 1977 Mercury Bobcat. Black with very dark tinted windows, I put in a better stereo with the mandatory 40W booster, 12" foam covered steering wheel. Loved that car because I paid for it!

1973 Ford, T-Bird. I loved that car.
