October 18, 200818 yr Everything that Barrack Obama believes and wants to promote as POTUS is anti-me. From social issues to fiscal beliefs, everthing that he wants to do will hurt me personally. As if that wasn't bad enough, I genuinely think that his policies are bad for the country. The clearer that his prospective polices become, the more scared that I get.
October 18, 200817 yr So how many "anti Obama" threads are we up to now? This is a conservative board, not an anti-Obama board.
October 18, 200817 yr This isn't an anti-Obama thread. He stated why, on the issues, he isn't voting for Obama. He didn't resort to attacks, or name-calling....
October 19, 200817 yr This isn't an anti-Obama thread. He stated why, on the issues, he isn't voting for Obama. He didn't resort to attacks, or name-calling.... That's how I felt. The one thing you will get from Mr. Network is what he thinks and with data to back up his viewpoint. The one other thing you will always get is that he will not resort to name calling or attack sensationalism.

October 19, 200817 yr I don't make over 250k a year, so I won't be impacted. It's time to close the giant gap between the upper and middle class. People forget it's the middle class that drives this country. The runaway greed from the upper class ala wall street has lead us to this recession.

October 19, 200817 yr Not until you need to pay a plumber to fix that leaky pipe and you get a severe case of sticker-shock when you see the bill. My plumber doesn't make 250K a year.
October 19, 200817 yr My plumber doesn't make 250K a year. I'm pretty sure mine doesn't either .

Most of the middle class that I know have jobs because of the "upper class". Not vice versa.
October 19, 200817 yr My plumber doesn't make 250K a year. Well make sure you don't hire Joe the Plummer, his rates must be really high...
October 19, 200817 yr Let's face it, this election is much like Kerry/Bush. We are choosing the lesser of two evils. Obama can run his well-spoken mouth all he wants, but he isn't going to bring about any more change than the next guy. McCain is too old to be president and has chosen an unqualified woman to be his running mate. There are no winners in this particular election.
October 19, 200817 yr Due to my job, I deal with several plumbing companies. Sure their employees aren't making $250,000 per year, but the seveal of the owners easily make that or better. And they are the ones that create jobs for their employees. Like anything else though, increasing their taxes will only force them to pass the cost increases onto the consumer.
October 19, 200817 yr BTW, Mr. Network, I'm assuming that it isn't a coincidence that you titled your thread "Why I am voting against Obama" as opposed to why I am voting for McCain. If so I agree with you. At this point I have little doubt that Obama will be elected, however, the best quality that I can find in McCain is that he isn't Obama.
