October 16, 200817 yr THIS IS AMAZING!!! THANK YOU PRESIDENT BUSH!!!!!! I agree. It was $1.46 or thereabouts when he took office. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but it wasn't that long ago that I never would have dreamed that we would be doing cartwheels over $2.89 gas.
October 16, 200817 yr I have a F-250 Ford diesel truck and diesel fuel is $3.15 :cry: I have always herd diesel was cheaper to make than gas, but for some reason it's higher.:cry:

October 16, 200817 yr Oil is down another $1.19 to $73.35. OPEC is freaking. It is down to 69.00 now. OPEC has now bumped up the meeting from December, to November, to now October 24th. I expect them to cut at least half million barrels a day to get the price above $85. I keep trying to warn all we are being teased. However, I believe 09 will be worse than 08 for the economy. The demand destruction will continue for a while.

October 17, 200817 yr I believe we are being teased. Why are the prices dropping (drop in demand ?) I don't buy the story. Were in the middle of global recession (slow down) it's not that it's dropping it's that many, many, people couldn't afford 3.75 - 4.00 gas so demand has dropped off.
