We were discussing this earlier. Does the Harbin system have a point max to discourage running up the score? For instance, winning by 40+ provides the most points you can get for a win over an opponent, regardless if it's 41 or 101.

Elder wins this one easily unfortunately. With the way the defense has been getting trampled on, I just don't see it happening. Not to mention CCH starting QB is out for this game and I think giving them a touchdown or two might be generous, but hopefully I am being very pessimistic.

Some of the predictions are crazy, Elder wins, but I don't think they put a 70 spot on the board.

Lets hope this is the case. If its not, then Sticky you have a great idea. No coach wants to go out and destroy any team by 60 pts and enjoy doing it, at least I dont think so. But if a coach is forced to do something because of state point rules then some games should just not be played. Now if the rule is what you think, then I can see Elder being very friendly and considerate to the KY Catholics.

No matter how positive the supporters and fans of this team try to be, no one in their right mind thinks we will go over there and beat them. If we do, great! I will feel like an idiot, but I will be happy! I don't think Highlands could even go over there and win to be honest. Make a better showing, probably, but not win.

Unless Brossart or somebody on the staff has friends in Price Hill, Elder names the score in this one!! The hope here for CCH would be to come out relatiely healthy. Only a fan blinded by blue blinkers could vote for CovCath in this one??

I think this game will be closer than most expect. Elder is coming off some very big GCL wins and facing not only a "Kentucky" team, but one that has been struggling. I think the Purple Panthers just might come into it a little flat. Hopefully the Spirit has not been broken. Much has been posted about dissatisfaction with the coaching staff. At this point, who cares. Its time for the players, coaches and fans to rally around the program and help support the players to play the best possible football they can. Worry about the coaching situation after the last game. Colonels, play the game of your lives. Coaches, forget about the criticism. Fans, put the coaching stuff aside. And CovCath students, while I've never understood or been a fan of your activities, get behind your class mates and cheer them on the entire game regardless of the score. Go Colonels!

Coach Brossart's offense couldn't move the ball against Highlands and struggled to move the ball against Beechwood. If his offense can't move the ball against these teams there is no way they can move the ball against Elder.
