St.X won pretty easily as Duece ran wild and I believe he ran back a kickoff for a TD.

The loss of the center is a concern. A position that gets little if any glory but is noticed by 37,000+ if he makes a bad snap. Especially with T's offense running from the shotgun quite a bit. I had a source tell me last night that there are hints of too much confidence (by the players) in the T locker room. IF true, that would be a bad thing for Trinity on Friday, but maybe a trip back to planet earth for the football gods would behoove them in the ultimate quest for 19.

 

I really hate to hear that. There is no place for such in this game. An honest and deep respect for the other is what is called for.

 

Now if one of the teams was 0 -4 and had a Freshman starting QB.....well maybe................. but I remember well one T team 3-8 on the season but one of the W's was against the Tigers - who were overwhelming favorites going in.

I hope not. Trinity's colors are green (from St. X) and white (from old Flaget High). I have never liked the intrusion of black or silver.

Why can't schools at all levels stick with their colors?

Yes! Kapfhammer, #62 is out with a broken foot. It happened on the last play for the starters in the Eastern Game! I feel for the kid. Great work ethic and great family. Riley, #54 is the backup and he is also out with a concussion. Danial Kuntz, #68 will be center tomorrow and he is an outstanding senior lineman. GO ROCKS! #19!

If you base it on Trinity game viewing, I would totally agree with you. Solid efforts against the teams they played. But I saw Elder dismantle Cincy St X- It was 33-0 with 4 minutes left. Without the 51 yard run, the Cincy St X offense had about 175 yards total offense with 3 sacks. Expect Radcliff to move back to DB next week full time.

 

Btw-X had 24 in the regular season last year and Deuce pulled up with cramps on another TD run to possibly give 31.

X had 28 plus the field goal giving possibly 31 in the state final.

Last three full regular season football games- X scored 36, 48, and 24 respectfully. There were some pretty good players on those teams too!

 

Good points taken! BUT Cinn. St. X is not the same team without their QB, who was hurt on the last series of the T game. All I’m saying is this defense is much deeper and quicker than the last three teams which gave up all those points. They rotate fresh quality players on almost every play. This will be a great game.
