Oddly enough I don't think defense decides this one. I think it's X's ability to throw the football vs. T's ability to run it. X looked good throwing it against Manual, and Trinity has yet to prove they can consistantly open holes for Phillips. Scoring first will be huge for whichever team accomplishes it.

Yes they have, they were passed down to the jv/frosh. a few years ago and my guess is that they are out of circulation by now.

 

My son played from 02-06 and they never had black uniforms for varsity! I think you are refering to the freshman uniforms. They were purchased ONLY for the Freshman three years ago. Here is a brief history lesson about our uniforms... When Jim Kennedy (1966-72) was coaching he brought an outline of sky blue to the numbers and a strip on the sleeves of the traditional green and white to honor Flaget after they closed in 1974. In 1978 when Dennis Lampley had the head coaching job, the blue disappeared from the uniform and remained green and white only. in 2006 the Rocks added for the first time, a highlight of black to what is now the current uniform. Over the years the pants have been white, gray and currently silver. So, with that said, varsity has never wore black uniforms. I hope this clears everything up on this issue.
