PRE-SALE TICKETS FOR FRIDAY'S GAME AGAINST HHS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE SCHOOL OFFICE FROM 7:30 AM UNTIL 3:00 PM THRU FRIDAY.

ADULTS = $ 6 AND STUDENTS = $ 4 - PRICE WILL BE SAME AT THE GATE.

 

NOTE: PRE-SALE TICKETS DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOU GET INTO THE GAME - IT JUST KEEPS FANS FROM WAITING IN LINE - SO GET THERE EARLY!

 

 

Received the above today from CovCath about the HHS game, and HHS rules for pre ticket game sales. Just seems a bit strange that I can buy a ticket in advance, but them have to still arrive early to be sure I get in? I totally understand that if I arrive late I won't find a seat, but to not even to be allowed in with a game ticket purchased days in advance? Just seems strange!

 

What gives Bluebirds fans, buy a ticket in advance, but we might not let you in! :confused::creepy:

 

I only know one time in the history of home games at HHS that one has sold out. That be with Moeller. The Leslie County / Tim Couch show may have come close. I do not forsee anything close to the turnout that generated. It would be nice... but anyone who desires to get in to see the game will be able to do so.

 

If not... I know a good side porch near the north endzone where one could listen to the PA announcer and the cannon while enjoying an refreshment.

The wording came from the Cov. Cath. end of the statement. Of course all stadiums have a capacity number. Highlands is no different. You may not find a seat but you will certainly find standing room. I wouldn't think they would sell more tickets than what their capacity is.

 

I certainly wouldn't worry. It has never happened in a Birds vs. Colonels game.

 

The 1982 District Championship Overtime game between HHS-Cov-Cath might be the one that was full capacity. They were turning people away for this damdy. So yes, there has been a sold out game between the Two. Weren't you living out of town during this time.

I remember the game well. That was as full as I ever recall the stadium being. Back then the games started at 8:00 and I can remember fans sitting in the stands at 6:15. Oh, and Roger was going out of his mind controlling the gate before heading to the sidelines. That was comical. The game by the way was awesome.:thumb:

If there was ever a game with a bigger crowd than the 82 game it had to be a sellout. I remember them parking us in the valley and my old 69 Chevelle was front and center. It almost wouldn't start after the game. I was quite nervous as I was about to keep hundreds of cars blocked in. Fortunately the ol' gal started up.
