Always been that way at HHS. If full, all fans will be left outside, regardless of affiliation.

 

Fire marshal doesn't care if you have 50 presale tickets. If it's full, it's full...

Problem is, Highlands shouldn't sell more tickets than the fire marshal would allow people.

How do you expect them to count the THOUSANDS of passes that people buy or are given every year? If they have HHS activity, faculty, football, senior citizen, NKAC, and KHSAA passes, would you like them to assume how many of those passholders will show up? Or do you suggest they make them wait outside until all people that have bought tickets go in.

 

If you'd like, we could assume all of the people with those passes shows up, then allow only the first 25 people to buy general admission tickets and let them in.

The point is that you can just walk right in and not stand in the long lines. No one is saying get there before everyone else. If you're there by 6:30 there will be ZERO problem. Except for the fact that you had to park in Dayton...

 

As everyone has said, HHS has been sold out twice in the last 25 years. The big Elder game didn't even sell out so I doubt this one will.

 

If you're standing outside of a closed gate and have the proper ticket, I don't see any reason why they would not give you a refund.

I think everyone is forgetting the infamous Mud Bowl between these two teams. That game was sold out because I ran into some shady guy outside the gates scalping tickets for that game. Heard they started at $25 each and by game time went for a steal at $15. Guy sold around 50 tickets. Or was it $15 for HHS and $25 for CovCath. Doesnt matter anymore guy spoiled it for all at HHS, you can only buy maxium 4 tickets for big venues now.

I think that Guidugli and my nephew were sophomores that year and it was the beginning of their triple trifecta (1998-2000). Maybe Lorenzen was a senior during this one, can't remember. I don't remember getting an invite to be recognized at a game for the 92 champs, but I probably just missed it. That mud bowl was terrible.

 

I would like to comment to the upset presale ticket argument guy: If you have ever attended a game at HHS as a visitor, you know to get there early or like someone said, "you'll be parking in Dayton." If you don't get there until game time, then you might be parking in Newport or Highland Heights. I for one have never witnessed someone not getting in with a presale ticket. If anyone has experienced this at HHS, please let us know. I understand the idea of playing devil's advocate but come on.

Proper ticket means the one that has HHS on it not CCH. Sorry colonels!!!!
