Was that Hardy Treble & Dale McMillan on the call for WHKK? Those guys were great calling the HS games back then.

 

Yeah, I always meant to go over and buy a tape of the game, but never did. Those guys were great during football season when you were stuck in a car all night delivering pizzas.

I go round and round with Seabass and Sticky about which game was larger. Cov-Cath 1982 or Leslie Co 1995. What do they know, they were all of 4 years old. 1982 was larger!!!!!! Now who had the most media attention for a High School football game at Highlands. That would Timmy Boy and Leslie County. Death Valley still isn't the same since the Helicopters landed down there.:laugh:

 

 

I attended this one, my only trip to Highlands for football. A group of 8 of us came from Bracken Co... it was unreal! Football will never be anywhere near that here.

Just got off the phone with Mark Wehry and he told me he arrived at CVG at around 2:30 this afternoon from San Fransisco and is now in fact on his way to the game! He and Mikey D will be doing the game live on the CovCath Internet Network!

 

So we have them coming in from the East Coast and the West Coast to watch this game! Go Colonels! With a spirit, that will not die!
