I cannot wait to see this game! It will be dirty and physical for the players on the field and from the students off the field from what i hear. Hopefully nothing gets out of hand, but these 2 teams have so much passion and chemistry with each other. Which is why it is the best rivalry in Kentucky:ylsuper:

Highlands has another great team,got to go with the Bluebrids,but I will give Covington Cath. a score. Highlands 35,Covington Cath. 6. Good luck to both teams,and enjoy.

Not hard for these two teams to get fired up for this one. I have never been a big fan of We beat them by this and they beat you by that kind of mentallity. CovCath always finds a way to step up to the challenge and fight to the end. I dont like blowout predictions especially when CovCath has beaten some of Highlands greatest ever when those games were predicted not to be even close. I think this one is coming in at HHS 28CovCath 21. Something about a team that has been there, done that, they said it couldnt have been done that makes me a little more cautious. GO BIRDS!

Can CCH beat Highlands, yes. Will they beat them. No.

Cov Caths o line with Andy Delgow and Will Deters in the back field is a huge force. I just don't see HHS D-line stoping them. They will come out and pound Highlands and use a lot of clock while doing it. This will then keep Cov Cath's defense off the field and HHS high powered offense off as well. HHS is a very fast team but their speed on defense won't matter when you are getting pounded for 3,4, and 5 yard gains. I say CCH 28 HHS 21.

Highlands by 28

And another thing, I hate to be the person that rains on the parade before it barely starts, but I hope the fans and posters keep things in perspective this week and after the game Friday night: its just a game played by young kids. The players and the coaches are going to do their best and will leave everything they have on the field, so win, lose or draw Friday night, lets keep that in mind. Players, coaches and the refs will do what they can to win. Some body is going to lose, yet the sun will come up Saturday morning and things will be just fine. :thumb:
