McCain Chooses Palin As Veep

Featured Replies

You can't preach that experience is of utmost importance and then have your #2 be a governor of a small state (in population) who was a mayor of 9,000 people 2 years ago. IF experience is a key issue, this goes against it.
McCain will welcome that argument and likely win it.

YEP!!!!! You may call me delusional but you won't be able to say that I'm not anything but honest.

I will not vote for Obama...I've stated why numerous times.

I am not fond of McCain for reasons I've stated before.

I like Biden...always have...always will... but I can't vote for him becaues that would be voting for Obama.

I want a woman in the white house other than being there because she's a man's wife. If McCain is smart enough, for whatever reasons he has, to pick a woman to run with him, then my vote is his vote.:thumb:

I have said many, many times that you are a very bright woman. :thumb:

BTW, love the avatar.

Forgot my "Y", duh.

I'm lost on the history of this pick. Have we not already had a female as a vice presidential candidate? I don't think Obama hand picked Pelosi and yes she does scare me. Pelosi that is.

Isn't that just as wrong as voting for Barack just because he's black?

That's all you Republicans have been harping about, thought it was a valid point. If something happens to McCain, we have no experience.
Well gee, if you vote for Obama you have less executive experience than IF something happened to McCain, so...

I don't know if it's wrong to vote for Obama because he's black or not...what do you say? I never said I wasn't going to vote because of his color. I don't have a problem with anyone voting for someone for whatever their reason is.

I have no vote for any of the three men....so please let me at least have my vote for the woman:D

I'm a life long Democrat and right now I am leaning toward McCain Palin . Obama is really going to have to do some pretty hard convincing to have me vote for him .

If you are going to apologize for your post I suppose I should also apologize for googling "Palin sex video" all afternoon.

By the way.......zero hits.

Creepy, very creepy. :creepy:

I'm a woman. I don't "feel it" with this pick. I'm 99.999999% sure McCain did it to pick up the angry Hilary would-be voters. That's smart on his part to win the election. But, I don't necessarily think she's qualified for the job, and I definitely am not prone to overlooking it because she's a woman.

So, in this election we now have an African-American running with a Catholic (historic pairing), and a POW with a gun-totin' woman (historic pairing).

Interesting election. Now that I know who McCain is running with, it will make my quasi-indecisiveness much shorter-lived.

God bless strong women like Sarah Palin, it's a pleasure to see with such weak-kneed men like Obama and Biden around. :D;)

If something happens to Obama, we have no change.

I'm more lost on the history of Obama being the first African American candidate.

Fair enough, but I do not think your position will be that of the marjority of women. It will resonate with MOST women.

I do believe you are wrong though if you think 99.9% of this pick is for angry Hillary voters. The voters that will decide this election are the moderates/independents/undecideds. Which way those swing will determine the outcome.

I'm a mom, and there's no way I'm qualified to be a block watch leader, let alone Vice President of the US.

From some of your posts that I have read here on BGP I think you would have been a great pick as a VP nominee ;)
If something happens to Obama, we have no change.

We have a winner!!:dancingpa
