Congrats to both. I am wondering what the mood is like amongst the Scott Co Parents with this ruling? Flannery almost should be a lock to get the same ruling, especially wiht his moving situation. So you have 3 players who will probably start and play a ton of minutes. Flannery might be a 6th man off the bench as a 3 pt specialist but he could step up his game and crack the starting 5 as well. 3 transfers in your starting lineup would certainly get my attention.

Exactly. Thers is no rhyme or reason for some of the KHSAA decisions.

16-0 is only surprising absent "all" the facts.

 

The commissioner obviously doesn't have time to review every case in depth, and must make an initial decision based upon the facts available at the time. I have no doubt she did the best she could with the facts available up front.

 

It is only during the appeal process that both sides are able to present "all" the facts.

 

The fact that the appeals judge and the BOC approved both players unanimously after reviewing all the evidence, should dispel rumors and opinions about the validity of each move... but probably won't...

 

The appeals judge ruling and BOC votes based upon the whole picture are reassuring (at least to me) that the process isn't entirely flawed. :thumb:

They didn't say much. Just a few comments on how Euton had to move for work and that it is only natural to find the right fit. And that they could see the reasoning behind the Jackson families move.

Let's go with that concept because I think everyone in the state should enroll their kids in Scott County but I'm not sure there's enough housing for all of us to move there.
