I am expecting Highlands to take care of business tomorrow night against Visitation and meet St. Mary's in the finals on Sunday night.

I watched the Visitation game the other night at St.Thomas. They pulled away from Blesssed Sacrament half way through the third. Visitation has some nice size and it should be a good game against the Birds..:thumb:
January 9, 200917 yr Author When we won the BCI state 5th grade last season the closest game we had was from WV. THey were very well coached then and their players understood how to play. WE played Conner in the 6th grade middle school (KBA) state final 8 last season and they also were a very good team and well coached. They struggled alot with our press but they had some very good players. All of the northern Kentucky teams we have played through the years are very fundamentally sound and very well coached. You people are blessed in NKY with some excellent coaching with an excellent job of teaching fundamental basketball done at all levels and at a very early age. Great job up there guys!

January 9, 200917 yr Camels Purple swept Sharp @ Sharp last night 6, 7 and 8. The officials were less than desirable for the Camel faithful. So that brings up an interesting question. What middle school is the toughest environment (crowd, officials, noise) to get the win????

If you're talking about getting "Homered" by the officials, Summit had a dandy slapped on them last year at Woodland!

January 9, 200917 yr I would say based on what the players say its tough to play at Sharp. Personally I think the officiating stinks pretty much everywhere. In fact earlier this week during the Highlands/Sharp game at Highlands there were some questionable calls, none that would have made a difference in the game score but still questionable. A few that brought the Sharp coaches off the bench with red faces. All I kept thinking was Oh man, we still have to go down to Falmouth later this season.
