June 18, 200818 yr Love Mojitos...tough to find a good one around here. Cuban...Caribbean drink that is becoming more mainstream in the States. Killed them with some Dos XX in Mexico two years ago and am returning to Mexico in a couple of weeks. Can already envision spitting the mint bits out.... The best mojito in the Lexington area is at Merrick Inn. I thikn a lot has to do with the rum. 10 Cane rum is the best around in my opinion.
June 18, 200818 yr Orange Stoli on the rocks. Gray Goose on the rocks or with diet coke. Coconut rum with a splash of pineapple juice if I am near a beach. In the winter time (which seems like all the time here), I like a few shots of Dr. McGillicuddy peppermint schnapps. Ah ... memories of skiing at Alpine Valley and Sunday afternoons at Packer games (in Milwaukee County Stadium, no less). :thumb:
June 19, 200818 yr When in Myrtle beach, I had a Cheeseburger in Paradise drink. YUM, it was a bunch of different rums and fruity stuff.
June 19, 200818 yr Screwdriver is my favorite. But every time we are out with a bunch of girls, it seems like we always have Jag Bombs...
June 19, 200818 yr We're going tubing down the Chattahoochee this weekend and making what we used to call Yuckatuck, Lemonade Powder, Water, Beer, and Everclear mixed and ice down in a cooler That's a classic. Typically we had Vodka, Everclear, Lemonade Powder & some Gatorade powder. It was awesome. Kinda scary how good it tastes, really. If you've had it, you'll know what I mean.
June 19, 200818 yr I can't handle much hard liquor anymore (ask Mrs. Muskie), but when I did drink a bit more, my favorite was called a Rattlesnake. It was equal parts Kalhua, Creme' De Cocoa, and Baily's Irish Cream. It tasted like a Yoohoo, and really worked well for me.
June 19, 200818 yr In an oblique reference to Hearsay's contribution: On tough days, Bourbon and air.
June 19, 200818 yr Did you play softball in H.S.??? I really hope this comment doesn't refer to Hooch...unless you have been around people who don't know how to make it properly, lol.
